Developed while working at Catfoss Modular, this 24-bed hospital ward concept required the complete spatial layout to be designed from the ground up. Relevant healthcare guidance and technical requirements were considered alongside the modular building system, bringing together patient accommodation, clinical support rooms, staff facilities, storage and circulation within one coordinated plan.
Careful attention was given to room relationships, accessibility, operational flow and the efficient use of space. The resulting layout demonstrates how a complex healthcare brief can be translated into a clear, practical proposal while balancing patient needs, staff requirements and the technical constraints of modular construction.
